Andre Blake named to Jamaican roster for Copa America

The Philadelphia Union’s Andre Blake has been named to Jamaica’s provisional 40-man roster for Copa America Centenario.

Blake, 25, has been the number one keeper for Jamaica recently, starting the last three World Cup qualifiers for the island nation. The Union’s number one goalkeeper has started every game for the Union this year, running his record to 4-3-1 with a .778 save percentage, good for third in the league.

All teams are forced to cut their roster down to 23 before May 20th, but it remains likely that nothing short of an injury will knock Andre off of the Jamaican team for this special edition of the tournament, which is being held in the United States.
