Eagles release Josh Huff after gun and marijuana charges

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Thursday that they have released wide receiver and kick returner Josh Huff. Huff was charged with gun and drug crimes after being pulled over for speeding on the New Jersey side of the Walt Whitman Bridge. Acting general manager Howie Roseman is scheduled to address the media at 12:20 pm.

Huff was a dynamic kick returner for the Eagles during his two and a half seasons, but struggled to contribute to the offense. He ends his career in Philadelphia with 482 receiving yards, four receiving touchdowns, and two return touchdowns.
