Zach- 10-5

Josh- 11-4

Thursday Night:

New York Jets (0-1) at Buffalo Bills (0-1)
8:25 pm at Ralph Wilson Stadium, Orchard Park, NY
TV: CBS
Spread: Jets -1

Zach: New York, 28-21
Josh: New York, 24-21
Hal:
New York, 24-17
Dan: Buffalo 19-16
Brett Buffalo 21-17

Sunday:

San Francisco 49ers (1-0) at Carolina Panthers (0-1)
1:00 pm at Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, North Carolina
TV: FOX
Spread: Panthers -13.5

Zach: Carolina, 35-7
Josh: Carolina, 28-20
Hal: Carolina 31-10
Dan:
 Carolina 38-14
Randy:
 Carolina 38-7
Brett:
Carolina 24-14

Comments:
Zach: I like Carolina in this game. I think Cam is ready to rebound after Week 1 loss. Gano better not miss any more field goals. Good thing I sat him last week on my fantasy team.

Randy: This one is easy. Carolina needs a bounce back win and San Francisco needs to come back down to earth. The best way to beat Carolina is by attacking the back end of their secondary and that’s just not something the 49ers are capable of doing right now.

Dallas Cowboys (0-1) at Washington Redskins (0-1)
1:00 pm at FedEx Field, Landover, Maryland
TV: FOX
Spread: Redskins -3

Zach: Washington 35-10
Josh: Washington, 21-17
Hal:
 Dallas 20-17
Dan:
 Washington 30-24
Randy: Washington 26-17
Brett Washington 14-10

Comments:
Zach:
Unless there is a gun to my head, you will never see me pick Dallas. I think Kirk Cousins is ready to rebound from Week 1 as well.

Randy: In a battle of two really bad quarterbacks, the team with more weapons on offense and more depth on defense wins, though I think this will be an ugly game. If Washington loses, the NFC East favorite is 0-2 but if Dallas loses they will be start out 0-2 in the division.

Cincinnati Bengals (1-0) at Pittsburgh Steelers (1-0)
1:00 pm at Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, PA
TV: CBS
Spread: Steelers -3.5

Zach: Cincinnati
Josh: Pittsburgh, 31-21
Hal:
 Cincinnati 17-13
Dan:
Pittsburgh 31-24
Randy: Cincinnati 21-17
Brett
Cincinnati 28-24

Comments:

Randy: I love the Bengals this season and I love them in this game, even on the road. They’ll shut down DeAngelo Williams and force the Steelers offense to be one dimensional.

New Orleans Saints (0-1) at New York Giants (1-0)
1:00 pm at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ
TV: FOX
Spread: Giants -4.5

Zach: New York 28-27
Josh: New York, 31-24
Hal:
 New Orleans 31-28
Dan:
New York 38-31
Randy: Saints 31-20
Brett
New York 21-20

Comments:

Randy: Whenever you have a battle of two outstanding passing attacks and two putrid defenses, always go with the superior quarterback. Drew Brees will be the difference in this one.

Miami Dolphins (0-1) at New England Patriots (1-0)
1:00 pm at Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, MA
TV: CBS
Spread: Pats -6.5

Zach: New England, 24-14
Josh: New England, 17-14
Hal:
 New England 24-13
Dan:
New England 21-17
Randy: New England 16-10
Brett
New England 24-20

Comments
Zach: With what the team showed last week, missing the league’s best tight end and one of the best quarterbacks of all time, I say, just give the team the AFC title now.

Randy: This is going to be a defensive battle where the first team to score over 10 points probably wins. In a close match-up like this one, go with the superior coaching staff.

Kansas City Chiefs (1-0) at Houston Texans (1-0)
1:00 pm at NRG Stadium, Houston, TX
TV: CBS
Spread: Texans -2.5

Zach: Kansas City, 20-17
Josh: Kansas City, 20-17
Hal:
 Kansas City 20-17
Dan:
Kansas City 24-21
Randy: Houston 31-24
Brett
Houston 28-24

Comments:

Randy: This is a different Houston team. They’re still built around defense and the running game, but their passing game is a lot more explosive. I don’t see Kansas City scoring enough to win this game, plus historically they aren’t great away from Arrowhead Stadium.

Tennessee Titans (0-1) at Detroit Lions (1-0)
1:00 pm at Ford Field, Detroit, MI
TV: CBS
Spread: Lions -6

Zach: Detroit, 24-17
Josh: Detroit, 28-17
Hal:
 Detroit 24-20
Dan:
Detroit 34-17
Randy: Detroit 31-13
Brett
Detroit 28-21

Comments:

Randy: The debut of Tennessee’s exotic smashmouth offense was pretty lifeless last week, plus Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has been absolutely on fire since the promotion of offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter.

Baltimore Ravens (1-0) at Cleveland Browns (0-1)
1:00 pm at FirstEnergy Stadium, Cleveland, OH
TV: CBS
Spread: Ravens -6.5

Zach: Baltimore, 28-10
Josh: Baltimore, 31-10
Hal:
 Baltimore 27-13
Dan:
Baltimore 27-13
Randy: Cleveland 19-13
Brett
Baltimore 28-14

Comments:

Randy: This one looks easy on paper. Take the Ravens against a really bad Browns team, but division rivalries will fool you. I like a pissed off Cleveland team playing against a very mediocre Ravens team at home.

Seattle Seahawks (1-0) at Los Angels Rams (0-1)
4:05 pm at L.A. Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles, CA
TV: FOX
Spread: Seahawks -3.5

Zach: Seattle, 28-10
Josh: Seattle, 31-14
Hal:
 Seattle 23-10
Dan:
Seattle 21-6
Randy: Seattle 41-3
Brett
Seattle 21-17

Comments:

Randy: The Rams didn’t hit rock bottom Monday night, if you can believe that. I think this is the week they hit rock bottom. I can’t see the Rams doing much of anything against this Seattle defense and in fact, I think Seattle scores two non-offensive touchdowns in this game. Maybe hold off on that Jeff Fisher contract extension.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-0) at Arizona Cardinals (0-1)
4:05 pm at University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, AZ
TV: FOX
Spread: Cards -6.5

Zach: Arizona, 34-14
Josh: Arizona, 24-17
Hal: Arizona 28-27
Dan:
Arizona 31-27
Randy: Arizona 34-10
Brett
Arizona 28-21

Comments:

Randy: I like Tampa Bay a lot this season, but I would not want to play Arizona coming off a loss, especially like the one they had last Sunday night.

Jacksonville Jaguars (0-1) at San Diego Chargers (0-1)
4:25 pm at Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego, CA
TV: CBS
Spread: Chargers -3

Zach: Jacksonville, 24-7
Josh: Jacksonville, 28-24
Hal:
 Jacksonville 24-13
Dan:
Jacksonville 34-28
Randy: Jacksonville 30-17
Brett
San Diego 21-17

Comments:

Randy: Usually I don’t like taking an east coast time playing on the west coast, but this Jaguars team will be playing with their backs against the wall. This is supposed to be the year they take that next step and starting the season 0-2 would be crushing.

Zach: Without Keenan Allen, the Chargers are going to be really hurting. I see them starting the year 0-2.

Atlanta Falcons (0-1) at Oakland Raiders (1-0)
4:25 pm at O.co Coliseum, Oakland, CA
TV: CBS
Spread: Raiders -5

Zach: Atlanta 27-24
Josh: Atlanta, 24-17
Hal:
 Oakland 27-14
Dan:
Oakland 27-20
Randy: Oakland 23-20
Brett
Oakland 21-20

Comments:

Randy: This is an interesting game. The Raiders have a chance to make a statement and get to 2-0 in what is supposed to be the year they become a playoff team. Atlanta needs a bounce back win after playing so poorly against Tampa Bay last week, but I like Oakland way to much to see that happening.

Indianapolis Colts (0-1) at Denver Broncos (1-0)
4:25 pm at Sports Authority Field, Denver, CO
TV: CBS
Spread: Broncos -6

Zach: Denver, 35-24
Josh: Denver, 31-24
Hal:
 Denver 20-17
Dan:
Indy 23-20
Randy: Indy 20-10
Brett
Denver 21-14

Comments:

Randy: The Colts secondary is absolutely depleted, but lucky for them Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian doesn’t have the arm talent to expose that. I know Denver’s pass rush is elite, but every team’s pass rush is elite against the Colts. That won’t be anything new for Andrew Lucky who will thrive through the chaos and carry his team to a much needed victory.

Zach: The Broncos have had a lot of rest and have a big momentum boost after beating Cam and the Panthers to open the season. I don’t think Andrew will be Lucky in this game.

Green Bay Packers (1-0) at Minnesota Vikings (1-0)
8:30 pm at U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, MN
TV: NBC
Spread: Packers -2.5

Zach: Green Ba 42-14
Josh: Minnesota, 21-20
Hal:
 Green Bay 24-13
Dan:
Green Bay 26-23
Randy: Green Bay 31-10
Brett
Green Bay 24-17

Comments:

Randy: Sam Bradford has never been great in games like this and Adrian Peterson is already showing signs of decline. Even if the Vikings defense plays lights out, their offense won’t score enough to win this game.

Zach: Sam Bradford vs Aaron Rodgers? This is a no brainer. Green Bay has all of its weapons and Rodgers tore up the first half last week. A strength for the Vikings is obviously AP, but one man doesn’t make a football team, which is why I see the Packers coming out victorious in this one.

Monday Night:

Philadelphia Eagles at Chicago Bears 8:30 pm at Soldier Field, Chicago, IL TV: ESPN Spread: Bears -3

Zach: Philadelphia, 24-7
Josh: Philadelphia, 28-21
Hal:
 Philadelphia 24-20
Dan:
Chicago 27-23
Randy: Philadelphia 23-16
Brett
Philadelphia 24-21
